This course includes the concept and steps of problem-solving (mathematical modeling, solution and implementation), Error analysis and sources of errors, Interpolation and regression using Least Squares error criterion.  Solving linear and nonlinear algebraic equations, Methods of differentiation and integration for finding integrals of continuous functions such as Richardson extrapolation technique, Trapezoidal rule, Simpson’s rule, extrapolation technique, and Gauss-quadrature method-Numerical methods for solving ordinary differential equations (initial and boundary value problems) and partial differential equations.
